Description
The seventh paper in IRSHDC's UNDRIP discussion paper series is a commentary on the federal government’s proposed legislation (Bill C-15) to implement the UN Declaration. The legislation was made public in December 2020 and has spurred much dialogue and debate. 

This discussion paper series was drafted by Mary Ellen Turpel-Lafond, Aki-kwe, in collaboration with Indigenous leaders and experts in this area.
