  • Memorandum of Agreement dated May 10, 1999 between Larry Loyie, Constance Brissenden, and Groundwood Books for the publication of a book provisionally entitled Residential School.  
  • Letter from Northern Lakes College dated March 24, 2011 confirming courses Constance was hired to teach 
  • Publishing agreement dated June 22, 2005 with Red Deer Press for When the Spirits Dance. Larry rejected this contract and returned the advance because the publisher did not agree to have Heather D. Holmlund as the illustrator. 
  • Letters from Transatlantic Literary Agency Inc. to Larry Loyie and Constance Brissenden for the transmission of unsigned and signed copies of the publishing agreement with Red Deer Press for When the Spirits Dance.

  • Letter from the British Columbia Arts Council from 2005 about a grant for CAN $5,000 for writing “Remember the Children”. This book would later be published as Residential Schools: With the Words and Images of Survivors. This was the first grant Larry and Constance received for writing this book.
