Unmarked graves located at burial site near Marieval Residential School

Description
At a press conference, Chief Cadmus Delorme of Cowessess First Nation announced that 751 unmarked graves had been found at a burial site near the school. They had been discovered using ground-penetrating radar. Chief Delorme noted that grave markers may previously have been present on the site, but may have been removed by Roman Catholic Church administrators during the 1960s.
