Alternative Dispute Resolution commences

November 2003
Description
The Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) program was launched in November 2003 by the Office of Indian Residential Schools Resolution Canada as a means to determine compensation for Survivors outside the courts. It ran from 2003 to 2007. Neither Survivors nor the Assembly of First Nations were consulted regarding the design of the program.
