"To school by boat": children of isolated fishing hamlets along a stretch of British Columbia coastline travel by sea-going bus. "Classsroom on rails": in a logging area of northern Ontario, a railway coach brings school to children. "Northern schooldays": Indian children at Moose Factory are educated in a modern residential school.
