Description
"The ongoing effects that colonialism has had on the First Peoples of Turtle Island (North America) are discussed. There is an emphasis on the inter-generational trauma caused by over one hundred years of forced residential schooling. It also examines the "60's scoop" of First Nations children into adopted homes and the collective impact these factors have played on identity, communication, and building trust."
