"Duane Gastant' Aucoin embarks on a healing journey with his mother to understand the effects that the Lower Post residential school had on her life. While he had not attended Lower Post, he comes to the realization that this residential school has had a profound influence on him. In this documentary, mother and son visit the school and talk about details from childhood to married life and family life. Together, they discover their own strength as they delve deep into the experience through supportive discussion, legend and dance."
