Description
"A short film by N'laka pamux filmmaker Chris Bose, dealing with what could be described as the heart of all the pain throughout First Nations Canada. The Residential school system and the generational ripples of suffering it has caused over the past century. The film combines mysterious 1940's residential school footage from somewhere in BC with modern images to contrast the past with the modern tailspin of society, religion, family, and culture. Rich in visual metaphor and imagery, the film does the talking as there is zero dialogue or central characters."
