Document consists of an evaluation of "Workers' Wonderings", a gathering of those who worked in the Indian Residential Schools.

As the cruelties and injustice of the residential school system began to be understood for what they were, many honourable teachers and staff felt discredited and even vilified. Workers’ Wonderings was a gathering organized in B.C. for former school staff representing 17 different residential or day schools from Newfoundland to B.C. It convened in March 2000. The participants had opportunities to share their experiences as well as listen to others. Alvin Dixon, a former Alberni Residential School student, told the gathering that his elders would want him to thank them for the good they did. He then went on to tell of his terrible experiences at the school.
