Ray Jones tells the story of his life journey to Alvin Dixon.
Curatorial Comment
Ray Jones of Gitsegukla went to an Indian Day School from grades one through five. In grade six, he was sent to Edmonton Indian Residential School. In this video, he speaks of his experience at the Residential School and its impact on him and on his classmates. He also speaks of spirituality and land claims. He is interviewed here by Alvin Dixon, a Heiltsuk man and survivor of Alberni Indian Residential School.
