The Northern National Event brought together TRC Commissioners, Survivors, intergenerational Survivors, First Nations, Inuit, and Métis leaders, as well as members of the various churches that governed the northern Indian Residential Schools. This meeting of all parties represents an important step in the road to reconciliation.
